Gosh I love living here. When I moved to Portland it was because of the music scene and since my band thing didn’t work out I never considered moving once. I actually now own a co-op farm that supplies root vegetables to many of the surrounding restaurants – did you know Portland’s got one of the most up and coming food scenes in the whole country? I love being able to work all day and go to bed tired and there are so many technological resources like wireless internet Portlandand smartphones that make this business easier than ever before. My favorite part of the job is working at farmers markets on the weekends and getting to talk to my individual customers. There’s nothing about this job that I would change and you know, I think that’s the goal for everyone at the end of the day. I can’t believe I’m a farmer and that I get to work with the land for a living but you never know how life’s going to turn out!
